The Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve “The Nearest Faraway Place”, is a perfect getaway to experience the wildlife and natural surroundings of South Africa.

At Bothongo Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve, you and your family can go on a game drive, watch predators feed, explore a cave, have a braai, speed around a bike track, climb a jungle gym, go for a swim, share a pizza, as well as enjoy sundowners.

Head to the Rhino and Lions Park for a guided game drive, and look out for over 30 different species along the way—including Lions, Rhinos, Leopards, and Wildebeest.

Guests are collected from their address in Jhb or Pta and taken on a guided tour. We start off the day with a drive past Lanseria Airport, where Mandela landed when he was released from Robben Island.
